We are a few days away from moving and I'm so excited I can't stand it. Usually moving makes me sad (like the move from St Louis to Fort Wayne, I cried the whole 6 hour drive). Or stressed because I'm moving to get away (like moving away from a crazy exhusband?) but this move is a happy one.
Even though things are not 100% set in stone (buying the house depends on the sellers repairing a few things correctly, if not, no sale), I'm looking forward to buying our first home together. If the Happy Yellow House turns out to not be ours then we'll just buy another one. No sweat. No worries. Thats the beauty of being a cash buyer. You can literally buy a house in 1 day.
I'm so thankful my mother is here helping me pack and take care of the kiddos. I'd be lost with out her help, especially since the 2 year old is going through a pain in the ass phase and the newborn is going through a growth spurt that causes him to suck down 8 oz of formula at a time and stay up all day and half the night. Thank God they are cute!
