If it weren't for bad luck......

Well, you know how the rest of that saying goes............. Not sure if it's bad luck on our part or if a higher power is looking out for us.We didn't get our house. The "Happy Yellow House" turned out to be a "Icky Moldy House". Long story short, the sellers didn't uphold their end of the contract by not using a certified mold remediation company to removed the mold, instead using a regular cleaning crew to bleach it. Yes. Bleach. On mold. So no matter how cute a house is, its not worth risking my families health. Now we start all over.

Back to the drawing board. I've got a new game plan for house hunting this time around. It includes 1)Day care for little ones 2)Narrowing down the search area to Lakeside/Northside and 3)Looking at homes with higher asking prices than last time
I've narrowed it down to 15 houses. Yes, 15. Hired a new agent. A young lady that is eager to conquer the real estate game and willing to work her hiney off. I call her Miss Hottie Tottie because I cant recall her name most of the time.
So here's pics of the 15(14 actually because I deleted one while editing this blog and am NOT smart enough to add it without screwing it all up) homes I've picked for this week. Hopefully theres a winner in the bunch.

Love the "American Foursquare" style homes.

Pic was taken before spring so it looks a little drab.

Cute and is actually quite big despite its looks.

One of my favs so far. Hope it doesnt disapoint.

Another beautiful foursquare.

A fixer upper in a great neighborhood with a great price tag.

Cute with more square footage than it appears to have.

I love brick homes. I love foursquares. Best of both. Swoon!

See a theme here? Foursquare again.

Another fixer upper with great price.

Great screened-in front porch.

Drove by this one a million times this weekend. Giggled every time.

Yet another foursquare. ♥

And a Victorian. Who doesnt love a gable??
